hi all,
i was recently at longwood gardens, which is always a delight to visit. in
the conservatory, there's one or two rooms with lots of aroids, bromeliads
and other shady tropical plants. particularly impressive were Anth.
superbiens, pendulifolium (huge!) and a large warocqueanum. and
Amorphophallus titanum that was over 6 ft tall. has longwood ever bloomed
theirs? also, several large interesting Philodendron species.
i'm wondering what other public gardens have nice aroid collections that you
would recommend visiting.

Maybe SC Johnson can make Aroid Leaf furniture polish, or at least a line
of doggie cologne based on voodoo lily ot Amorphophallus floral scents!
BTW, nice view. Milwaukee's got the best.
