A. reginula is known in the trade as Black Velvet or Blackie. Polly, i believe, is a form of x amazonica.

Cheers Wilbert

What threw me was the description of matt black leaves - I always
think of A. x Amazonica as glossy

From: "Wilbert Hetterscheid" hetter at worldonline.nl> on 2002.01.04 at 20:58:35(8026)
Absolutely. Matt was the wrong diagnosis, although the glossiness of x
amazonica diminishes when a leaf gets older.
