I just saw Dr. Paul Simons in a short segment on the Discovery Chanel on a
program called the "World of Wonder". He had found an Amorphophallus
titanum in flower in the wild. The narrator said that he was with Kew...
Anyone know him? We should get him in the IAS.

Paul Simons actually works as a radio reporter for the BBC. He was a few days
with Jim Symon and me on Sumatra, looking for Am. titanum but then "only"
found Am. gigas with us. A few weeks later he ran into a flowering titanum.
He has already published about that in a Kew publication. I have his address
somewhere, but where.........
