From: Riley2362 at aol.com on 2003.04.21 at 08:59:15(10108) Hi Tsuh Yang, Geogenanthus rhizanthus is probably the plant you mean, very dark in color and in the Commelinaceae Family, not an Aroid, from Ecuador, Peru and Colombia. Ecuagenera had a couple of plants at the Aroid show last September in Miami but I don't know that they are a regular source of the plant and not mail-order from Ecuador unless you catch them at an orchid show. My web search on Geogenanthus showed a very different plant from the black Commelinaceae I saw on an island off Taiwan.
