Craig Allen???

I have heard that Craig no longer works for Fairchild tropical
gardens??? Is this true and if so why did he leave or was he fired? If
this is true I don't see why a botanical garden would get rid of one of
the best Amorphophallus growers on the face of the earth. It has
bothered me to hear this news. I hope it is not true?

It is true---I do not know the details. A truly sad day for Aroid lovers everywhere. What will become of 'his' collection??

It is true and unbelievable that Craig is no longer at FTG, but he has gone on to an other life, hopefully to get back to his art. He was definitely not fired and has been ask to do consultation work at the garden and possibly to do another Chelsea show.
I hope he will fill in the particular, it is not the same without him at FTG.
