  Possible Summer get together???
From: "Albert & Febie" <mrknight at charter.net> on 2004.02.08 at 01:52:43(11110)
I enjoyed the wonderful time in Raleigh a couple of years ago when Petra Schmidt and Alan Galloway had worked very hard to put on a great time for all who attended. I was wandering if anyone had plans for anymore in the making and if there was any interest in another one. Count me in on anything that needs to be done. Thanks Albert

Maybe a plant exchange/trade/meet or mini-show, held perhaps somewhere like
PDN or Atlanta Botanical Gardens. I was not able to go to the event in Raleigh
the summer before last, but something on the same lines this year would be
terrific! Count me in too if something happens.

Well, if you're going to do a mini-show/exchange/trade/meet why not the
central US location of MOBOT? Tom was such a good host for the 1999 Aroid
Conference.

I think yearly northern meetings/ trade and sales would be very
interesting and worth while. I would be willing once I get the place
fixed up to have the aroid society meet here. We are currently building
huge mountains for out Botanical putt putt golf. So constructions will
be in the way for sometime but would love to have the aroid society to
come out once we are done and play a few rounds of putt putt and view
the collections.
