Old aroid/tropical plant nursery in Miami
From: RAYMOMATTLA at cs.com on 2005.04.08 at 22:51:24(12865)
Hi all,
I was wondering if any of you knew/know of a nursery owner in Miami by the name of Ray Grubb....at least that is what I think his name is. When I was a teenager I ordered my first aroids from him by mail order catalog. This was about 14 years ago..pre Hurricane Andrew, so I am not sure if the nursery or Mr. Grubb is still around. Anyway, the list included some very rare Alocasias and a few Philodendrons. One of the Alocasias was an odd, newly discovered species from Malaysia...I believe. Wish I still had that one.
Thanks
Michael

There is a Ray Grubb in the Apopka area in the center of the state(I know
him because of ferns). He has recently gotten back into the
business.
