Homalomena erythropus subsp. allenii Croat
|
From: RAYMOMATTLA at cs.com on 2005.04.28 at 17:56:59(12897)
I was just wondering if this subspecies is the same as the plant being sold as Homalomena 'Selby'. Also, are there any online images of the Amazonian species
Homalomena erythropus subsp. erythropus? How many species in the section Curmeria do we know of now? Any chance this section of Homalomena will be made its own genus?
Thanks
Michael

Ray: As I recall there are 11 taxa in the section Curmeria.
We are doing molecular studies with this (Alan Meerow and 1) and that study may
define better whether this is a section or a genus but at the moment it looks
like a section.
