I asked Joep about the possibility the burgundy underside plant could be P. billietae in a juvenile form and sent him the photo which is on my "blind" page. As most of you know, Joep lives in French Guaina. He knows P. billietitae as well as anyone. His response is attached. Since even young and slim billietae do show clear horizontal veines. Billieatae with purple 'back' occurs rarely however. Here got now (first time) gorgious seeds on Ph. williamsii. They can be pure or hybridized since I cot most of my megostygma's in the same area. Have planted perhaps a 100 seeds, will see what happens.
