Aroiders and in particular, Sir Phalloid:

What should I make out of this posting from The Kew Gardens Working
Group in October 2006?

Sauromatum and Typhonium revisited
It was noted that on the International Aroid Society website
(www.aroid.org) Wilbert Hetterscheid suggests that molecular research
will split up Typhonium again into smaller genera including Sauromatum.
Therefore the Panel were content to retain the genus until further notice
