Dick,
It depends on your objectives and, to some extent, on the Arisaema
species.

The simple way is to thoroughly clean the seed and plant them. Don't
expect too much.
Or you can use the Norman Deno method and get faster, better results.
Or you can force them and get blooming sized plants in 2 years.

Are these simple methods or very complicated to both explain and
implement?
They are from the local triphyllum.

Dick,
Get a copy of Norman Deno's book. He sells it direct for about $15. All
is explained there.

The forcing method is best explained in the AEG (Arisaema Enthusiasts
Group) archives.
Probably A. triphyllum is not worth the effort involved in any of these
methods. Just clean the seed thoroughly and plant them in a shady spot.

A. triphyllum will bloom here in Tampa, FL, Zone 9, without cold-treatment.
Lovely plant!
