Current status of Seed Acid study
From: soukupvg at email.uc.edu (Victor Soukup) on 2007.09.18 at 12:12:57(16304)|
I am writing up the results of my research studies on the acids of the
seed lipids of Araceae and how they may be useful in interpreting, and
possibly redeploying, current thoughts on alliances in the family.
Over the past few years I have on several occasions asked for, and
received, seed specimens to enable the work to go on, and for these gifts I
am most grateful. In a few cases seeds were promised but never sent and in
two cases seeds were sent but never received due to internal government
regulations concerning sending seed out of the country.
I can still use data on a few genera, especially those from Malaysia,
Sumatra, & Borneo, so if those working in those areas could take another
quick look and if possible send seeds of those genera which occur there, it
would help put the red ribbon on the package.
Again, my thanks for past assistance.
