  Dormancy and Typhoniums
From: tindomul1of9 at yahoo.com (Tindomul Er-Murazor) on 2007.11.29 at 14:44:38(16762)

Hello all. I have a Typhonium varians that went dormant three weeks ago. I have allowed the soil in the pot to dry out and have kept the tubers on the surface, barely covered by soil.
Am I supposed to expose them to colder temperatures?
And does anyone know when I should start watering again?

Thanks!!

This species can be stored out of the soil while dormant.? They do not need to be watered until they begin to grow again on their own sometime in the spring.? They also do not need any cold treatment.? They?will do just fine wintered in a basement or even at 70F.
