Ladybotany may be back with a new name
|
From: Steve at ExoticRainforest.com (ExoticRainforest) on 2008.01.03 at 21:14:45(16882)
To all of your eBay sellers and buyers, you should be aware it appears Ladybotany is back using a new name on eBay. The new name is 5eeds (not seeds, but the number 5 followed by "eeds"). There are now 10 pages of "seeds" up for sale from Ankara, Turkey using this new seller name. So far, nothing I can find to affect aroiders, but the seller bears watching, especially if you are looking for seeds to purchase.

Steve,
looks like you are right - or another person is going to sell a Kiphofia
'Candlelight' with a Digitalis picture.... ;-)

Bernhard.

Tere,
via ebay I wrote to 5eeds that the Knipholia resembles rather a yellow
Digitalis.
| +More |
What I got as reply is even more funny than the offer....
QUOTATION:
"Hallo gartenbauer,
Hi,
Both are from the same genus. Resembles like a digitalis also but it
is a Kniphofia. Looks like digitalis purpurea f. albiflora, but has
yellow
flowers instead of white.
Kind Regards
-5eeds"
END OF QUOTATION
Well, I did not know that Digitalis and Kniphofia are in one genus, even
more surprising since they belong(ed) to diferent plant families.
These taxonomists are weird sometimes - LOL......
Best,
Bernhard.
