My Second and 3 rd Titanum is Blooming within 2
From: fzeren at aol.com (fzeren at aol.com) on 2008.04.25 at 21:42:29(17466)

I just found out today, my third Titanum is blooming too.

Attached are some pictures of second and third Titanum Blooming at My Restaurant basement. The second one grew almost 2 ft within 1 week. It appears to be 2 more weeks to get full size. Will keep update.

This is a fascinating context within which to see titanums
flowering. The structures within the inflorescences certainly
produce a deja vu experience.

Do you grow these outside in the summer?

I hope that these flowerings have been a positive thing for your
restaurant, and am glad that you're sharing them there and on this list.

Thank you, If not blooming, if they are growing leaf, then I will bring them inside the Restaurant, Basement ceiling is to low (8 ft) to grow leaf, plus the conditions will not be easily satisfactory for strong/green healthy growth. For storing dormant tubers, blooming, so far it is working.

I think they like the smell (full bloom, spadix release odor-corps flower), most of the time, they sleep over the pot guarding the flower?
