Here is what a titanum should look like. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item"0231249571&_trksid=p3907.m32&_trkparms=tab%3DSelling
This one looks to me a lot like a konjac. At first I thought it might have been a paeoniifolius or koratensis but it isnt bumpy enough in my opinion.

I have traded large number of Titanum tubers and large number of other
species of Amorphophallus tubers. The picture looks just like the Paonofolius
tubers I have on my bookshelf waiting to be planted down to the motling of the
skin surface. I would hope a healthy Titanum tuber would be kept slightly moist
not bone dry and have lots of roots.
