  Amorphophallus soil/dormancy list
From: "E.Vincent Morano" <ironious2 at yahoo.com> on 2008.09.26 at 19:53:50(18587)
I have attached a file that contains a list of over 200 Amorphophallus spp. It needs more info and maybe the addition of a few more spp. It has loads of helpful information already. I was thinking of adding a column for growing requirements, light, heat, water, etc. If anyone is interested in helping the please feel free, otherwise please enjoy the information already there. This is an excell spreadsheet.
Thank you
Erin

Dear Erin,

You could write an interesting article for Aroideana with all this information.

Yours sincerely,

Marc

Well, I didnt write it. But it is very nice none the less! I was hoping tha t by submitting it here, maybe we could use our collective knowledge to fil l in some of the blanks. And even add a colum for growth requirements becau se some amorph's are very different in that they go dormant when it gets ho t instead of the other way around like most other plants. This list was ema iled to me from a friend in Russia and he got it from a friend in Germany, from there I dont know who else may have had it or who wrote it. So I figur ed I'd post it here and share the wealth of knowledge contained within and see if maybe we can expound on it. Otherwise just enjoy it and feel free to pass it along to any of your frinde that may be interested in it.
