  Correct name for Philodendron 'pincushion''

Steve-

The juvenile form of P. squamiferum looks similar, but Ihave not observed any pubescence on my specimen. According to informationfrom the grower, the leaves are eternally small, rather than just in thejuvenile age. Since I have only had the plant about a month, I can’tconfirm that myself.

I hadn’t noticed the “Aroid CultivarRegistry” on the IAS website before. I just checked there and foundthat Philodendron ‘pincushion’ is listed as a recognized cultivarname.

Why are Calla and Zantedeschia not included?

Chiefly because we are not the official registrar for those genera...

You can find out who is here: http://www.ishs.org/sci/icralist/49.htm

The upshot of which, Susan, is that you've been a member of the wrong society all these years.
