Dear Michelle,

Your plants is one of the cultivars of Syngonium podophyllum, probably "Frosty'' or somesuch. 
It has escaped and grown wild in many warm ores of the USA, especially in Florida, and has become an invasive pest plant.  As an adult plant in the wild, the leaf will look COMPLETELY different, much like a Philodendron goeldii (Google it).
