I peeked. It's a Flower!

We will be wrestling it out of the greenhouse on Frida y and taking it to the UC Botanical Garden at Berkeley. Looking at photos of its' 2005 b looming and some of its' siblings I'd guess we have two weeks for it to open fully. If I had a plant like that, I would assume the act of my peeking inside would be enough to cause the flower to abort then and there. It's not that I have a brown thumb, but I find my success rate is inversely proportional to how much I value the plant.
