  Miniature syngonium??
From: ExoticRainforest <Steve at ExoticRainforest.com> on 2009.11.06 at 03:21:41(20247)

The plant inthe photo attached was taken by a lady I have corresponded with in thepast. She and another aroid grower I know each purchased this at Searsas a "Miniature Syngonium". My guess is this is only a juvenile or aoverly treated tissue culture of a common Syngonium. Doesanyone know?

Hi Steve,

This is one of "cultivars" of Syngonium podophyllum

It is usually sold as many juvenile plants together in one pot.

After a few months or more it begins to put larger and differently coloured leaves,

the internodes become longer

and the plants don't differ from popular "normal size" cultivars.

An example you'll find here:

http://www.wschowa.com/abrimaal/araceum/syngonium/pixie.htm

They can be chemically made dwarfish (like Kalanchoe)

or just they are very young.
