  Anthurium seleri
From: ExoticRainforest <Steve at exoticrainforest.com> on 2009.11.11 at 08:08:41(20265)
Does anyone on this forum have a specimen of Anthurium seleri?

I have a request from a hummingbird society for a good photo showingthe inflorescence which will be used to create a painting. Based ontheir information the Emerald chinned hummingbird feeds on the insectsthat come for nectar of Anthurium seleri. I assume the requestis referring to the inflorescence at anthesis.

The species is known primarily from a small geographic area fromeastern Mexico to the adjacent areas of west central Guatemala. If youcan provide a photo please let me know.

Steve
