However, thanks for the possible ID-ing; it seems to fit to the picture at Alan's site http://www4.ncsu.edu/~alan/plants/aroids/amorphophallus/dunnii/1.html I checked the pics in the species list of the IAS but only the Yunnan species; of course SE China includes Yunnan, but there is no pic of the tuber on the IAS site. I hope I will grow it to flowering size. Attached there is a picture of the plant in it's habitat; unfortunately no close up of the petiole. The position and shape of the offsets might be quite unique. Unfortunately I did not take a picture of the petiole while it was still green; it has a nice pattern with rather long light spots. The wilted leaf was the second one of the season; the first one was aboout twice in hight. Looking forward......
