  Epipremnum cebu blue
From: charlotte durrant <charlotte9611 at hotmail.co.uk> on 2019.08.16 at 12:39:06(24222)
I was wondering if anyone could give me a better insight in to Epipremnum pinnatum ‘cebu blue’. I’ve seen lots of pictures around of the characteristic blue hued ones but also some with a more greenish tinge (which aren’t normal E. pinnatums). I know aroids are highly variable so is this a case of different sources = different characteristics?

Thanks in advance

Hi Charlotte,

My experience is that the leaves of 'Cebu blue' become less blue as they mature. On my plants the blue tinge is most vibrant on the smallest leaves. As the plant climbs and starts producing larger and split leaves, they are much more green.

Hello,

I would agree with Zach on this. The adult leaves are less blue, but still very different than the standard green form. It is the prettiest form and my favorite. I recently threw away huge piles of both, but left the juvenile cebu blue to regrow. And a week
later saw a big one sell for $150 on eBay!

And the piles had already been picked up.

I don't know about 'white knight'.

Don, I hadn't seen that sale of Cebu Blue for $150. Wow! It's a virtual weed in my shadehouse and I throw a lot of it away along with garbage cans full of regular pinnatum, which is 40 feet up one of my live oaks and blooming.
