From: Jason Sarine <jasondsarine at hotmail.com> on 2016.07.07 at 21:24:57(23656)
I don't have any titanum pollen but I have some other species about to bloo m including,
Fuscus
Mossambicensis
Abyssinicus
Atrorubens
An unknown species from Thailand
and others just can't remember off the top of my head.

Is a hybrid out of the question?

I keep reading about more and more titanum coming into bloom, all in collections. Maybe it's time to establish a studbook on this species, as is done for animals in captive breeding programs. After all, with the world's tropical forests under increasing pressure, forest specialist plants will come under increasing risk of extinction in the wild. If we had a studbook, pollen could be shared in a more systematic way, instead of shot-in-the-dark inquiries on a listserv.

A most EXCELLENT idea! something like this, perhas in a less formal
way, goes on in the world of CYCADS.
