(Chicago has very cruel winters) I used to find the weather a most limiting factor when i was shipping plants, and when i resume shipping plants, i am going to find it limiting again. unfortunately it is not legal to label the plants LIVE CHICKS. It also matters where you are on your local carrier's mail run, or the UPS unheated truck run. yes. sometimes you get lucky, but i never would count on it. hermine +More ps heat will kill plants in shipment faster than cold
