  [Aroid-l] kachinensis bulb alert
From: "Temmerman" <temmerm at skynet.be> on 2004.09.10 at 11:51:12(12176)
Hi,

I have a big Amorphophallus kachinensis bulb. It's dormant right now. It
is stored dry, but I got a serious problem. The whole bulb is stored dry
but on the bottom, there is a small shriveled knob that looks like the
remnant of previous year's growth. But that knob is now wet and soft while
the whole bulb is being stored dry. Is this rot? If so, what should I do.
I really don't want to lose this big bulb. It's the only one I have.
Thanks for any help already.

Mike
