I have personally seen a nice philodendron selloum variegata growing in
someones front yard here in Tampa. My friend ,Ray Coleman drove me over
to see it. Ray is now working for Tropiflora doing hybridization with
neoregelia (bromelaids).I have several "elephant ears" that are
variegated . They include alocasia odora, macrorhiza ,but the one I am
really excited about is colocasia esculenta 'splash' which is
gorgeous. It multiplies rapidly and could become invasive, but I like
invasive plants. As far as the xanthosoma you seek, I have not heard of
one but am certain they exist . The golden form sometimes is splashed
with regular green giving it a reverse variegation. It also is a
magnificent plant and is of easiest culture. Barry Schwartz
