Marek, perhaps you have much more continental climate, than
the others. I know now, that USDA Hardinbess zone does not calculate in the
continentality, the humidity etc.

One of my friends were in Sweden and in Grece. We know, that
there are bigger frosts in Sweden, but she was in a pullover in -8?C, in Hungary
when the temperature is about -10?C we usally weare thick jackets. The same is
with Grece, tere are big heatwaves, and the people do not have problems as here
in Hungary. If you travel to Russia the climat is more continental and the
weather is more untoleratable.

I live in Z5a, and I've heared, that Typhonium venosum is
hardy here, but did not survived here, even in sheltered place, in sandy soil
with winter protection...
