I'm just wondering if Aglaonema 'Abidjan' is common among
Aroid collectors. Is it in your collection?
Someone has indicated that they've seen one that could be 'Abidjan' being
sold at a WalMart, anyone
seen this and know that it is 'Abidjan'???

Gosh. something that looks exactly like this was sold as an aquarium
plant back in the dark ages. apparently some of these things will grow
for a while underwater, before the inevitable happens, which is a sorry
state indeed. but i DO remember buying this at Aqua Stock, on maybe
Reyerson Street in NY, Aquarium Stock Company, Herbert Axelrod,
prop. I had aquariums as an excuse to have underwater plants, the
fish were only just kind of THERE, for me back then.
