[Aroid-l] tiny titan in St Paul
From: Gareth.Hambridge at rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au (Hambridge Gareth) on 2008.04.15 at 21:02:21(17393)
Your tiny titan may have flowered because you kept it so dry during
dormancy. As mentioned in a previous post, we often leave our larger
corms out to dry for several weeks. A small one may possibly be induced
to flower by extra dry dormancy conditions??.
I was speaking to a botanist at Bogor Botanic Gardens in Indonesia last
year and she told me that it is quite common for small flowered titans
not to open their spathe fully.
