Thereis no such name as Alocasia nishihiri (nishihira); by this I mean that the namehas never been formally published. All images I have seen are A. brancifolia.

Can anyone tell me thedifference, if any, between Alocasia brancifolia and Alocasianishihiri? Are they simply the same plant with two different names,or two separate, but similar, plants? Or has one name now replaced theother? Please help!
