What I meant to say was to use a solution of Indole Acetic Acid at 100-150 ppm not ga3. Again, GA3 contact with roots, rhizomes, and tubers is bad bad bad for all plants. I refuse to participate in the in the recession. GA3 retards root growth and will kill your tubers/rhizomes if it comes in contact with them. I've been using plant growth hormones for years. If you want to noticeably increase tuber growth then wait until the tuber has formed a leaf and the leaf is fully open and established. Just do this one time during the season and apply high phosphate or bone meal fertilizer. Keep in a hot and humid shaded greenhouse for optimal results. Using this method, I made a 2lb konjac grow into a 7lb monster in one season. The next year it gave me a perfect flower of specimen quality. Which Ive posted pictures of here in the past.
