Hi Steve
In response to your general request, I live in Rotorua, New Zealand,
have a small mixed collection of aroids (garden and greenhouse) in
an area with a temperate but cool climate (1000 feet ASL.) I don't
belong to the IAS - there are only so many plant societies one can
afford to belong to. Other plant interests include orchids, gesneriads,
hoyas, ferns, begonias, clivias, magnolias etc etc. I enjoy reading the
aroid list, although much of it relates to plants that aren't available
here (we have hyperneurotic biosecurity and plant quarantine
regulations).
