Janice and I have been blessed to have so many great friends and
many of them are among the members of the International Aroid
Society. Personaly, I have been very privileged to meet so many

If you are a member of the IAS you will soon be receiving the
December issue of the IAS Newsletter. Just today, I had the
chance to review the issue and I trust all of you will find the
articles of value. For those that write for and create our
newsletter as well as our annual issue of Aroideana, my thanks for
all your work. The IAS is an all volunteer organization and
without your our work would not be done!
For all of you that have shared information with me this past year
about your plants, your interest in growing aroids and especially
scientific information that I have been able to use on our

website my sincere thanks. We wish all of you the very best this
holiday season and hope to have many of you as guests in our home
during the next year. Our small rain forest under glass is open
to all of you at any time.

as an IAS member, now would be a great time to give yourself a
membership as a Christmas gift. Just visit the IAS website
