Well having grown Pluto in the 70s and 80s I would say definitely not, despite similarity of leaf shape. I seem to remember Pluto as being of a burgundy hue, also. Here are photos of the hybrid philodendron he created. It is very slowly vining. This specimen was grown in shade but in sun it could vine even more slowly and be more chunky.
