Alpine Garden Society Aroid References

In the Alpine Garden Society Bulletin V66No2are several references and one
picture of aroids. On p212 is a picture of Eminium spiculatum and "The most
peculiar flower was an aroid, Eminium spiculatum, resembling a 15 cm oval
piece of grilled steak from which a long erect khaki spadix protruded." On
pp218-220 is a discussion of Biarum bovei and of pollination and growth of
aroids in general.
