  Caladium question
From: Lester Kallus <lkallus at earthlink.net> on 1999.04.27 at 18:23:10(3310)
I'm confused by catalogs of hybrid caladiums. In some Candidum has wider
green in the veins. In others, it's White Christmas that has the more
prominent green. It's beginning to seem as if there are a set number of
photos and a set number of IDs and that they then get matched haphazardly.

Of these two Caladiums (White Christmas & Candidum) which is supposed to
have the thinnest veins and the greatest amount of white?

One catalog shows June Bride to be a solid white leaf with a thin rim of
green along the edge. The same company's web site shows June Bride to be a
green leaf with a flush of white in the center (more along the lines of
Aaron but with a greater white to green ratio).

Does anyone know whether there are any cultivars of June Bride that are
solid white with just a thin rim of green or was this trick photography?
