But one oddity I've noted, the first aroid to sprout and bloom every year (OK, the 2 years I've had it) is my Arisema candidissimum (pink version). This blooms very early and smells like cotton candy. But accounts I've read call it a late riser, often not until June. I think mine came up late Feb or early March. Susan +More PS.
