Ah, thank you, Dewey! Although my zone 5 isn't friendly to escaped aroids, you never know. Maybe my raspberries and strawberries can do battle with it (I think they are determined to take over the world- both grow faster than kudzu). The plant in question is in a little pot now, and I'll keep an eye on it....

Carefull, you might have Gonatopus! No, that is not a sexually transmitted
disease... just one hell of a pest in the garden if it escapes... The
'bump' in the stem is the clue....
