Mine (8 and 10 years, boys) delight in crushing the snails underfoot which (snails) are then eaten by the dog (Black Labrador) removing the mess on the driveway. Unfortuneately neither dog nor children are keen on the slugs which occur in about equal numbers. Alternatively considering the hassles of maintaining both children and a large dog in the garden, Sluggo might be a better choice. ddr
