Dear Eric;
I have grown T. giganteum in Kansas City, MO (Zone 5) for
about 7 o 8 years. It has not bloomed every year, but has been
through well below 0 F. The tubers are not very deep and still it
makes it in both sun and light shade.

It does not begin growth until VERY late- July or August!
