Germinating Seed

Susan,
The cold climate folks will have to help you with the heating pad, etc ideas.
But one word of caution: A number of Aroids in the germination process (especially
Anthurium) will exhibit a white fungus growth around the seeds, as a normal
part of the process. So before tossing out those seeds get out the old magnifying
glass to be certain you are not throwing out good stuff.

>I have a question about seeds that take a long time to germinate-
>I don't have much luck with them- do you keep the seeds on a heating pad, covered
with plastic, or what? Mine seem to either dry up, or get mossy. Nothing ever
sprouts. I hate to admit my ignorance, but I guess I need help!
