Paul, some Amorphophallus spp. can grow and flower very quickly . A. henryi
recvd from Wilbert as seed in 1996 ,
grew well and flowered and set seed in only 4 years .
Though our tropical climate may have helped a bit .
Seed of A galbra I planted in late December , has amazed me by producing a
tuber of over 1 cm in a little over 4 months .
I am certain that the Sydney Botanical Gardens has a very large A titanum.
And several other spp.
And I am preying that Craig gets his A gigas to set seed again , so some can
come 'down under'.
