I also agree with Neil here - if the IAS is not doing something that you'd
like to see done (you referring to any member) then bring it up and see if
the consensus is to add it to the many things that IAS already does.
Essentially IAS _IS_ the "World Aroid Club," only with a little bit
different name. I think that the idea of exchanging plants, for example, is
a great one. But I have found that this give and take is already present,
to a large extent thanks to this list. If we want to make it a bit more
formal and have a place for posting plant species/cvs. that you're
interested in, that could certainly be done as far as I'm concerned,
perhaps within the context of the newsletter. It doesn't take forming
another group to do this. Let's stick with the strong society we already
have, and simply make it stronger.
