  World Tissue Culture Bank
From: Jill Bell godjillab at home.com> on 2001.07.28 at 20:52:01(7181)
I know that this idea has probably been thought of, and it is naive on my
part to think such a thing might work, but is there a way to store the type
of cells of a plant that are needed to make tissue cultures? Perhaps there
would be a way to have a world-owned (in the United States of course, just
kidding) bank for these things so that there could be a proverbial Noah's
Ark for botanical culture.
What do you all think?
