Special Web Page Symbols

This is not an aroid specific question, but something that will affect
how we format new IAS web pages in the future.
I have a need to display the normal biological male/female symbols in
html text such that it is legible on all browsers. Does anyone on the list
have experience doing this? Please contact me privately at .
