Tropiflora and Fenders Flora's
Second Annual

Open House and Sale

It's Festival time again! Tropiflora will once again open it's six acres of
greenhouses and put its one and a half million plants on display for your
perusal. Fender's Flora, one of Florida's finest orchid nurseries, will be
open, with thousands of beautiful, high quality orchids and many specials.
This now famous event will feature orchids, bromeliads, succulents, cycads,
caudiciforms, carnivorous plants, aroids, ferns and assorted plant oddities,
at special sale prices. There will be a large selection of $1 to $3 stock
closeouts! Sale priced supplies and books too. Plan to spend the day! There
will be something for everyone, all day, everyday!

. Free coffee and doughnuts.

. Oldies Radio, 108 will broadcast live from Tropiflora on Saturday

. Hourly door prize drawings.

. Raffles of plants and supplies, all day long, each day, to benefit the
Bromeliad Identification Center at the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens.

. The Oaks restaurant will be on hand each day, selling Florida's best
Barbecue, hot from the grill, with all the trimmings, and cold drinks.

Special Guest Vendors

Plantio La Orquidea, famous orchid growers from Caracas, Venezuela, will
bring a selection of their famous hybrids and cultivated species.

Other guest vendors selling ferns, Heliconias, Hibiscus, Crotons, Bonsai and
much more.

New this fall: A Botanical Art sale! Several well know botanical artists
will be selling prints, painting, t-shirts and other objects d'art.
