Alocasia lowii is really a confuse species, and is now considered to be a
synonim for alocasia longiloba(in the last revision from Alistair Hay).We
had normaly to call this sp
alocasia longiloba 'lowii'.This species is considering to be a really
variable sp so we have now alocasia longiloba 'lowii',alocasia longiloba
'korthalsii',alocasia longiloba 'putseizii',alocasia longiloba
'watsoniana',alocasia longiloba 'denudata',alocasia longiloba 'thibeautiana'
..etc.Dr Alistair hay say in his last revision that more research had to
be made about that sp.
I have here lot of cvs of alocasia longiloba;if you want some leaves for
your research, let me know and i will be happy to send you
Alocasia tigrina 'superba' and alocasia 'reticulata' are both considering to
be cvs of alocasia zebrina. But it is also a confusing sp.
