A. konjac, multiple buds no longer.

Since I have a bushel and a peck of small konjacs, I would like to try to maintain this one as a single huge tuba. I am cutting off all but one of the buds. It kills me to do this since some of them are bigger than the original tuber I bought from PDN seven or eight years ago. As someone suggested, A. konjac may not "like" being big and may decide to go forth and multiply, but I'm going to try it. I will report back this fall on what happens.
